Kat McNally joined BLAM Lab in June 2012 as the Artist for the Kata Project.
Kat received her BFA in 2012 from the Maryland Institute and College of Art, where she specialized in animation, illustration, and creative writing. Kat is responsible for the many aspects of creative production. This includes developing themes, background stories, concept art, 2D animations, and 3D models. One of her key roles is to create characters that meet a very high bar for emotional impact. This is necessary in patient therapy and unforgettable commercial products.
Outside of the lab, Kat focuses on improving all of these skills by writing and drawing comics. You can find examples of her work at MICA and more on her blog:
